You can now update text directly from the markup without you having to make the changes manually. It was a feature available in the previous AutoCAD version but now it is updated with more smart tools. The block settings like scale, orientation etc are also retained. Now you can replace an existing block reference with just a few clicks directly from the blocks palette. You can temporarily disable it by pressing and holding the shift key. Now when you insert a block you can move it close to the walls and boundaries and it will align itself with it. So, now you have a centralized location for checking the edits performed on a drawing and you can use filters like date range and the person who performed the edits. This will now let you see the drawing activities like Lurge, Xref attachment, File rename, File copy and a lot more. AutoCAD 2024 is now available, here are some of the highlights of the new features.
